Chris Tracey got into the indoor cycling scene in 2009 thanks to Flywheel’s very own Kate Hickl and Ruth Zukerman. Born and raised in East Hampton, Chris played just about every sport in the book growing up. When he wasn’t in the gym shooting a basketball, Chris was at the beach, surfing or fishing with his friends.
His interest in the ocean ultimately lead him to study in Australia this past spring, taking electives on the Great Barrier Reef, and Chris recently moved to New York City after completing his Bachelors degree in Finance from Florida State University. An avid runner - he has run two half-marathons – as well as an indoor cycling fan, Chris now teaches Fly High School classes. When he’s not at Flywheel working his buns and guns, Chris enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and chilling out at the beach (preferably Georgica in East Hampton). He is also a huge supporter of the New York Mets, Giants, Knicks, and the Florida State Seminoles and could see himself working in the sports business world one day.
